CALIFORNIA CHAPLAIN CORPS
About Us
About Us
California Chaplain Corps (CCC) began in 2017 to provide highly confidential crisis and trauma care to sworn and non-sworn personnel and their families throughout the State of California. Institution administrators and department heads trust the integrity of CCC to consistently provide the highest level of service to their agencies.
Additionally, we provide Confidential Law Enforcement Chaplain services and Mutual Aid to those departments that currently do not have Chaplains. We often assist departments in starting their own chaplaincies and we are able to P.O.S.T. certify Chaplains the departments already have on staff.

Testimonials

“I recently attended the week-long Chaplain Academy presented by Mindi Russell and Lisa West from the California Chaplain Corps. I am a sworn lieutenant who oversees a group of twelve volunteer chaplains. This course gave me a greater understanding of what chaplains in our organization and throughout the state do for our departments. This course was well-organized with relevant and modern practices. It is clear why this course is certified by P.O.S.T. I highly recommend this course for anyone who oversees, manages or works with law enforcement and/or fire chaplains. I also recommend this course for those who oversee Wellness or Peer Support programs at law enforcement agencies. This course should be highly recommended for all formal chaplain programs at law enforcement agencies.”

“I have loved my time serving as a Law Enforcement Chaplain and staff member with California Chaplain Corps. I have learned so much and appreciate the opportunity to serve officers and their family members. This organization is so professional, compassionate and provides an essential service for so many throughout the entire state. Not just the sworn officers, but the administrative personnel, the medical teams and Peer Support of the agencies we serve. I have especially loved the time I spend training Chaplains throughout California alongside Fellow Senior Chaplain Mindi Russell. Chaplain Mindi has been my mentor since 2014 when I first became a Chaplain. She has ‘literally’ written the book on what it takes to be a Trauma-Responder Chaplain and Crisis and Stress Management Expert”.
